General Guidelines:

• Students coming to the health room with health concerns are logged in on the "Health Room Daily Sign In" sheet. If it is deternined by the Health Assistant or School Nurse that the students needs to go home, the student's parent (or other person identified by the parent on student's emergency card) is contacted, and arrangements are made for student to be picked up. The person picking up the student must go to the main office to sign in. His or her driver's license will be scanned and a visitor's badge will be provided. They may then go to the Health Room to pick up the student.
• Students who are ill and wish to go home but are unable to contact a parent (or other person identified by the parent on student's emergency card) or whose parent requests the child walk/drive home because the parent is unable to provide transportation are to be referred to the school's administration.

Students are not allowed to carry over the counter medications at school. They must be given to the Health Room with the appropriate form attached. (See link on left.)
